Fellow members,

As you have noticed, Racing Underground has been offline for two weeks. After a very long (and heated) dialogue with all the team members, we decided to go our own seperate ways. We are very sad to see some of the main figures involved with the site leaving us, but we respect their decisions.

But there also is some good news. The remaining team members decided to re-launch the site under a new name, and we are all good to go! You will find the same excellent service as you have come to known from us, so rejoin our community right now.

Racing Underground will now be known as Racing For Me and you can find us right here: http://www.racingfor.me
To make sure that the switch will be as safe as possible, we have reset everyone's password. You can renew it using our 'Reset your Racing For Me password' option. We hope to welcome you soon to our new cosy corner on the internet, now known as Racing For Me.

Μόλις είδα τον Alonsospeed να ειναι admin σε νέο site με τελείως διαφορετικό όνομα (όχι αυτό στο link) φοβήθηκα ότι μπορεί να έχει συμβεί κάτι τέτοιο..... Μετά από τόσα χρόνια seeding 24/7 το λιγότερο που αισθάνομαι είναι προδομένος....

Τα σπάσαμε μεταξύ μας και μετά από μερικές σφαλιάρες αποφασίσαμε να χωρίσουμε τα τσανάκια μας και να σηκώσουμε ένα νέο site (με τα παλιά username) υπό το όνομα racingfor.me

Fellow members,

We welcome you to Racing For Me, the (new) racing motorsports torrent community on the web.
Unfortunately we had to see some very invaluable team members say goodbye to us, but a small group decided to continue with a new site and name. The reason for Racing underground going offline is, that some team members simply couldn't combine their personal commitments with their virtual ones on RU.

We do this on voluntary basis and in our spare time, so we respect their decisions as the site has grown so quickly, that more and more time was spent on the site and its community. After a long and heated dialogue with all team members involved, we decided to take the site offline for a while until we decided which path to take.
Finally, after two weeks we can present Racing For Me and we will continue where RU left off. The second reason for the closure are the many, many hits we had on Google. Being popular is great, but it can also attract a lot of unwanted interest.

Unfortunately this did mean that we had to "rush" through the development of the new site and some pages are not (fully) functional yet. But the main functions should be working properly and we will continue to build on this version to improve your RFM experience. We decided to remove all forum data, as a lot had come redundant and in time we will re-add some essential topics, like tutorials and what not. Together with the forum data, all messags have been removed as well (again). If you come across something that isn't working properly, or if you have suggestions on how to improve the website, feel free to submit your inquiry to our team right here: RFM Inquiries.

EDIT: I know there is an issue with the shoutbox in IE8 (probably earlier versions as well). I'm trying to solve this as soon as possible, but you might as well change to a proper browser like Google Chrome or Firefox.


Ευτυχώς δεν χάθηκε το ratio που είχαμε φτιάξει και έτσι δεν ξεκινάμε πάλι απο το μηδέν.

Ζητώ συγνώμη που βιάστηκα να μιλήσω μιας και από ότι βλέπω ο alonsospeed κάνει upload κανονικά στο νέο RU... Τώρα τι έγινε στο ενδιάμεσο, ποιος έφυγε και ποιος ανέβαζε "δικά του" στο άλλο site δεν γνωρίζω/δεν απαντώ :p
