Από τις 29 Ιουνίου μετά το GP του Assen, το www.moto.it ανέβασε μια εκπομπή (στα ιταλικά προφανώς) για τη σύνοψη του αγώνα. Στις 30 την είδα κι έλεγε τα παρακάτω.

Ο Melandri τσιμπάει 1+ μύριο από την Aprilia και δεν μπορούνε να τονε διώξουνε διότι δεν δέχεται μείωση στις αποδοχές. Δηλαδή αν τονε διώξουνε πάλι θέλει το δικό του μύριο. Οπότε τον κρατάνε εκεί να σέρνεται, διότι δεν μπορούνε να βρούνε μια συμφωνία να φύγει ο αναβάτης εξέλιξης του MotoGP project....έτσι είναι οι ιταλοί.

Τελικά κατάφεραν και τονε διώξανε, αλλά για μένα όλο αυτό έγινε διότι δεν έφερε την τούπου-τούπου μαζί του. Είναι σαφές...τελείωσε η υπομονή τους να περιμένουνε την Μανουέλα. Όλο τους υποσχότανε ο Μελάντρις κι όλο τίποτα.

Laverty will be a permanent replacement for Marco Melandri with effect from this Grand Prix.
Michael Laverty will rejoin the MotoGP™ class for the GoPro Motorrad Grand Prix Deutschland this weekend and continue to be a permanent fixture in the Aprilia Racing Team for the rest of the season. So far this year, the Northern Irishman has been racing in the British Superbike Championship for Tyco BMW onboard an S1000RR.

With Aprilia & Marco Melandri having decided through mutual consent to part ways, Laverty was a logical choice as a replacement having served as a test rider for the RS-GP.

Michael Laverty: “I'm excited to be back on the MotoGP grid this weekend for the German GP. Competing against the regular guys racing MotoGP is a tough task, but I am relishing the opportunity. I have been riding with the Aprilia test team so I am comfortable with the Aprilia RS-GP machine and the Bridgestone tyres. Firstly I must adapt the race bikes to suit me and then look to keep progressing throughout the weekend. Álvaro has been riding strongly in this first half of the season and I have witnessed some great development work through the test team. I now look forward to being a part of the racing team."

Michael is one of three Laverty brothers who race professionally: he is the oldest, followed by John and Eugene Laverty. Eugene already races in MotoGP™ for the Aspar MotoGP team, making the lavertys the second pair of brothers in this year's championship, alongside Aleix and Pol Espargaró.

Βέβαια, στο άρθρο της gazzetta, λέει πως ο Μελάντρι ακόμη από τα χειμερινά τέστ του 2014 (Νοεμβρίου), έκανε παράπονα ότι δεν μπορούσε να την παει στα όρια. Από το τέλος Ιανουαρίου, μετά τις δοκιμές στη Sepang, ζήτησε να μεταφερθεί στα WSBK, όμως μετά από μέρες πυρετωδών διαπραγματεύσεων, εισέπραξε μια καθαρή άρνηση.

He did it all too quickly for me to believe it was not prepared. It was very cunning.”

The manager of factory team continued: “Valentino is shrewd, he has often done things that others did not have in mind … He’s a champion of wits and this an example of his cunning, straightening the bike as soon as he saw Marc get close…”

After the race there were no major incidents between the two pilots and Race Direction finally decided that it was a racing incident with the nine-time World Champion being touched by the young Spanish talent.

Livio Suppo again gave his version to Motosprint: “There was not a real blow, just a slight contact; Valentino has not taken a shot that causes you to jump off the track. There he went, off the track. I believe that Rossi had thought about this before, he knew of the possibility. Moreover, Valentino has always been good at pulling the rabbit out of the hat.”

Marquez to repeat 'Assen move'

MotoGP Honda rider Marc Marquez says that he would repeat the same final corner 'Assen move' against Valentino Rossi in the future.



Thursday 09th July 2015

On the final lap at Assen, Marquez drove down the inside of Rossi only for the Italian to cut through the Chicane and hang on for the win.

In a television interview on Thursday ahead of the German Grand Prix, Marquez said now that he knows that what Rossi did was legal he would do it himself in the future.

"I'd do the same again, but it's true that we have learned something new: that what Valentino did is allowed, and that's good to know for the future," Marquez told Spanish television.

"There have been a lot of different situations on that corner and this one had never happened before.

"In the end, Valentino during his career has been innovating and coming up with new things which are always helping us learn.
