Weekend Trip Around Athens

Hello everyone,
I am in Athens for a month for a project and I came here with my motorbike. Can you suggest a weekend tour around Athens that I can enjoy the gems of this Area. For now , I am planning to visit Evia for this weekend, any recommendations to stop over during my trip? And must see places.

Hi and welcome to Athens!
First of all what kind of bike are you riding?I mean are you going off road also? Because that's a whole different world to be discovered.
Evia over the weekend will be really busy and if you are not used to Greek (malakes) drivers you better be extra careful.
Keep an eye on the weather also because I heard some rain over the weekend is expected.If I were you I would drive through the mainland.

Why only around Athens? Half day's riding can get you quite far from Athens and then the possibilities are increasing a lot.
Especially if we are talking about weekends.

I have a YBR125 so not good for off-road. I mean 150-200 km distance from athens would be maximum for me because I also would like to stop by on the way where I like. And my bike is not a fast one a 125 cc. Thank you for your advices

Best places to visit in north Evia.

As an alternative to what the guys have already mentioned, and since it's already quite hot, think about spending a day's riding over and around mount Parnitha.
On the northern side and at relatively low altitude, after passing the area Agios Merkourios you can find lake Beletsi.
Or you can go up the mountain,on the way to the casino, and head on towards one of the 2 mountain-refuge houses (Bafi & Flampouri).
You can enjoy a meal at their restaurant ,take a hike in the spruce forest, or just lay back and enjoy the awesome view.
Another alternative is to take a ride around the mountain through all the villages.

I'm sure you'll enjoy your ride in any of the above mentioned destinations.
