This appears to be a so called soft recall: every Adventure that enters a KTM dealers' workshop, even for a simple oil change, is to be taken apart for the two checks.
It appears the ring around the clutch basket can be 'eating' a lot of the aluminium that the basket is made of, leaving a lot of aluminium parts in the motor oil and a possible loosening of the ring, with a result that could be dangerous.
The second one is really scary:
the nut that keeps the generator and some other stuff connected to the crankshaft, has come loose on some bikes. Pfff, hope they weren't riding at 100mph... So the engine has to be taken apart, and the nut has to be replaced and re-fastened.
