Το 1998 βγηκε το σουπερ μηχανακι για την εποχη του το μυθικο R1 . Μετα απο 2χρονια στο μοντελο του 2000 υπηρχε μονο το ονομα ολα τ'αλλα αλαξαν . Λαθη κανουν ολοι και ειδικα οταν ενα μηχανακι ειναι πολυ μπροστα απο την εποχη του.

Ρε φιλαρακο αν διαβασεις τα παρκατω θα καταλαβεις οτι το σχολιο ηταν ειρωνικο . Εκτος αν κατι αλλο σε ενοχλη και δεν το καταλαβα.

'Since posting this morning, I took the compete gear cluster back to the supplying BMW dealer, and the wokshop foremans reaction to the wear on the gear dogs was 'christ, they are knackered'. I have rang back BMW UK after sales manager (Tom Nichol) to discuss the problem, but he doesn't seem remotely interested in resolving it. He was more concerned how I had obtained his telephone number.

When changing the oil and filter, have any of you BMW S1000RR owners noticed excessive swarf on the drain plug magnet?! If you have, thats the gearbox dogs disintergrating.'

'ust had a call back from BMW Aftersales chief Tom Nichol, to say they are refusing my request for the replacement gearbox parts under warrenty as the bike had been raced. And I would have to pay the full retail price of £775 to obtain these parts. I am disgusted at their attitude as this is an obvious manufacturing fault, and nothing to do with gearbox abuse. I pointed out to him that BMW class the S1000RR as a race replica (RR) and it comes with a racing quickshift and four power maps, being 'Wet', 'Sport', 'Race' & 'Slick'.

The first page on the BMW S1000RR brocure states on Page 1 - 'pure riding enjoyment on road and track alike'
Page six states - 'it was made to shave those vital fractions of a second off your lap times' (obviouosly race track lap times)
Page ten states - 'And giving a sense of security that helps you win races'
Page eleven states - 'The RR has also already claimed pole positions and race victories in the German national superbike championship and in the Barcelona 24 hour race'
Page twelve states - 'Racing is life. Anything that happens before or after is just waiting'
page 21 states - 'Smart technologies that cut lap times'

The problem that worries me most, is when I fit these replacement parts I've had to pay for, they are going to last exactly the same amount of time, as the original gears did. And as Suzukiman said Steve Mercer had the same trouble at an MRO meeting. But I have heard from people who were at that meeting, the gearbox fault caused him to crash and led to several thousand pounds worth of damage.'

"Spoke to Jimmy Storrar's dad tonight, he is waiting to post on forum. They are waiting on a call from Mr Nicol, BMW after sales manager, already been told by Mr Nicol that they are not interested in fixing bike under warranty. Mr Nicol was informed that half the bolts that were removed from gear box were only finger tight, no locktight used in any of the bolts. Company that repaired Jimmy Storrar's bike said that this problem will occur again and again as it's manufacturing problem. Every time they change gear box oil sump plug is aways covered in swarf. Sold this bike as race bike, says on receipt race bike, only did 2 meetings and then gear box problems started. Bike not fit for purpose sold I.E. sale of goods"

Μάλλον κάποιου τύπου αγώνα. Δε νομίζω πώς καμμιά εταιρεία τιμά την εγγύηση όταν το μηχανάκι εχει συμμετάσχει σε αγώνα αλλά η βλάβη δεν είναι 'αγωνιάρικη'..

δηλαδη η BMW λεει επισημα μεσω του after sales manager οτι το μηχανακι της ειναι για βολτα μεχρι την καφετερια (φορωντας φυσικα ολο τον bmw branded εξοπλισμο) για να λεει ο ευτυχης ιδιοκτητης ποσο γαμαουα μηχαναρα εχει κ οτι θα τους παταγε ολους αν δε σκορπαγε μολις κουμπωσει δευτερα;

δεν ειναι απλα td αλλα european superstock (ο τροοπ θα ξέρει) αγωνες. Βλεπω οτι λέει για silverstone.

Γενικά η bmw κανει το κουνέλι για τα προβλήματα στο κιβώτιο που προήλθαν και καλα απο αγωνιστική χρήση.

Ισως σε αυτα που γραφουν οι εγγκλεζουριαν κολλαει και αυτο που λέει ο μεγιστος ββκ για αλλαγή μοτέρ μαζι με την αλλαγή λαδιών.
