Δυστυχώς το dakar για άλλη μια χρονιά είχε νεκρούς

Αν δεν κάνω λάθος, είχε μόλις 10' λεπτά περιθώριο για να τερματίσει την ειδική της ημέρας, 17 ώρες στη μηχανή. Αφού έφτασε, όπως έφτασε, ενημερώθηκε από συμπατριώτη του Αμερικανό, ο οποίος είχε αναγκαστεί να εγκαταλέιψει την ίδια μέρα στα αυτοκίνητα αν δεν κάνω λάθος, ότι οι υπόλοιποι είχαν ξεκινήσει πριν από 20-30' λεπτά περίπου. Του είπε να πάει να φάει κάτι όσο αυτός του ετοίμαζε τις σημειώσεις της ημέρας "στο πόδι". Γύρισε ο απίστευτος μετά από μισή ώρα περίπου, ευχαρίστησε τον συναγωνιστή με δάκρυα στα μάτια και ξεκίνησε πάλι.
Το θέμα είναι ότι φέτος είναι μακράν το πιο συναρπαστικό από θέμα ανταγωνισμού. Όλα είναι στον αέρα όσον αφορά τη γενική κατάταξη και οι ειδικές μπορούν να καρδιθούν καθημερινά από τον οποιοδήποτε.
