.........."next day we drove off to Bam choosing to go route 86 through sarvestan,
Runiz and Neyriz. We never made it same day instead we stopped in
Sirjan. Sirjan turned out to be a very strange place. This was the
first time when we felt that we are some kind of freaks. Not many
people spoke english but they continued taking in Farsi and laughing.
It was not nice. I am wondering now if it wasn't just tiredness finally
kicking so everything was annoying us. Nevertheless we stopped on the
first petrol station and in 5 minutes both our tank were full!!
guy was a teacher in local school. we met him later on and he showed us
the place. Sirjan is not nice and there is almost nothing to see. We
left next morning. Everyone was telling us that we should go first to
Kerman and then take a motorway to Bam. "the others routes are
dangerous".
"Dangerius it is!!" - richard said. "let's go for this!"".............................









......"From Sirjan we drove to Baft and then jiroft and finally Bam. This
route was fantastic. Huge mountains reaching 3500 metres all around. My
language is too poor todescribe all those beautiful passes. Tarmac was
smooth and some valleys were taking your breath away. We were stopped
only once in a valley and been asked to show papers. to be honest all
policeman are more interested in a small conversation the papers, at
least it was my impression." ...................
