παιδια ημασταν στο μισανο.. οποιος δν εχει παει να το προγραμματισει ο αγωνας κ το ταξιδι ειναι καταπληκτικη εμπειρια! ξενερα βεβαια γιατι κ ο ντοβι κ ο ροσσι εγκατελειψαν αλλα θα θυμαμαι τα απιστευτα που εγιναν το σαββατο! του χρονου μουτζελλο!!!!!

ο αγωνας δν ελεγε πολλα. χωρις το ροσσι να μπορει να παρει νικες δν εχουμε θεαμα. κ αυτη τη στιγμη δν μπορει το γιαμαχα ειναι για τα μπαζα πανω που του δωσανε το νεο μοτερ πηγε κ εσπασε το μπουρδελο!! ο χοπκινς στο τελος πηγε μπροστα μας (διπλα ηταν η κερκιδα της σουζουκι) κ πηγαινε στον κοφτη το gsvr! καααααααααυλαααααααααααα!!!!!!!! ολα τα λεφτα το σαββατο που τραβουσαν σουζες μπροστα μας!

Για mugello εννοειται ειμαι μεσα!!! Ευτυχως εκει ο ροσσι κερδιζει μ οτιδηποτε!!

Φανταστητε τον στονερ στον επομενο αγωνα να κατσει στην αρχη 7ος για 5 γυρους μετα να παει 2ος για αλλους 5 γυρους, ξαφνικα να πεσει 10ος μεχρι λιγο πριν το τελος του αγωνα και στο τελος να τους τρυπησει ολους και να κανει και 2 δευτερολεπτα διαφορα.

Εμεις να λεμε τα δικας μας και ο Στονερ να γελαει μεσα απο το κρανος του.

Ίσως να ψιλοβαριόμαστε εμείς να βλέπουμε τους αγώνες αλλά σίγουρα ο Stoner δεν βριέται να πηγαίνει τέζα για 45 λεπτά.

MotoGP: Michelin still waiting on Yamaha and Honda decision


Michelin is still to learn whether Honda and Yamaha’s factory MotoGP teams will continue in 2008 or make a switch to Japanese rivals Bridgestone.

Both factories have held discussions with Bridgestone after a torrid campaign with Michelin that has seen the French manufacturer win only four of the opening 13 races of the season.

Michelin has faced a barrage of criticism from Valentino Rossi and in particular Repsol Honda rider Dani Pedrosa, but the Italian recently admitted that a switch to Bridgestone would be difficult.

Tyres are now the single biggest talking point in MotoGP, with further meetings to be held in next weekend’s Estoril MotoGP in Portugal to discuss modifications to the current tyre rules.

Those include an increase in the rider allocation from 31 to 40, and a relaxing of the current testing restrictions.

Michelin boss Jean-Philippe Weber told MCN there are still not contracts signed with Fiat Yamaha or Repsol Honda for the 2008 MotoGP world championship.

“We want to stay with our partners. We have already had a long partnership with them.

“Usually we don’t talk about contracts so early in the season just because we knew we stay with them for another year.

“Today we still think it will be like that and we don’t insist and ask them ‘do you want to stay with us or not?’ But of course we have technical discussions for their needs and how we have to react. And they have to feel confident in us.”

It is rumoured the reason triple world champion Dani Pedrosa is stalling on signing a new Honda factory contract while he piles the pressure on bosses to dump Michelin and switch to Bridgestone.

Δηλαδή η σταθερότητα του γιατρού τόσα χρόνια, ξαφνικά ξεχάστηκε. επειδή
έχασε το πρωτάθλημα πέρυσι, από κάποιον που δεν δικαιούται να αποκαλείται
πρωταθλητής της κατηγορίας των motoGP??? Επειδή φέτος πάει κατά διαόλου?
Δηλαδή δεν κατάλαβα? Τον ξεγράψαμε από οδηγό ? Αυτό ήταν ? Για σοβαρευτείτε
λιγάκι... Άν φέτος γαμούσε και έδερνε το κακόμοιρο το Yamahάκι, τώρα θα λέγατε
όλοι σας.... "μα φυσικά...τι περιμένατε..Rossi είναι αυτός..." Όμως κανένας ποτέ δεν
είπε για τον Gibernau, για τον Melandri και για τους άλλους που ήταν και θα είναι
πάντα στην σκιά του γιατρού... Απλά ρε παιδιά, αυτοί οι πιτσιρικάδες είναι το μέλλον..
Και φαίνεται ίσως ότι μπορεί να είναι και πολύ λαμπρό.
Όταν ο Stoner και οποιοσδήποτε από τα νέα παιδιά θα πάρει ίσως έστω και δύο σερί
τίτλους, τότε τα ξανακοιτάμε και ξανασυζητάμε τα πράγματα..

Προσωπικά είμαι από τους μεγαλύτερους φαν του γιατρού. Για μένα όσο καιρό παρακολουθώ τα motogp είναι ο καλύτερος με διαφορά. Μια κλάση πάνω από όλους. Αυτό όμως δεν σημαίνει ότι δεν θα παραδεχτώ την ποιότητα του Στόνερ. Για φέτος μιλάμε. Δεν έχω ξαναδεί τέτοια σταθέρότητα ούτε από τον γιατρό. Το πρωτάθλημα κοντεύει να τελειώσει και ακόμα περιμένουμε να κάνει το πρώτο λάθος ο Στόνερ.

Ο Ρόσι 2 χρόνια πρίν και πίσω ήταν αφάνταστα σταθερός αλλά έκανε λαθάκια τα οποία όμως εξισορροπούσε με μαγικές κινήσεις που δεν τις έχει στο ρεπερτόριό του κανένας άλλος.
Από την άλλη ο Στόνερ φέτος απλά πάει σαν κομπιούτερ.

Ε τί να κάνουμε τώρα να μην του πούμε ένα μπράβο δηλαδή επειδή είμαστε φαν του γιατρού?

Rossi concedes after worst run since 2000.

After suffering his fourth non-podium in as many races - his worst run since 2000 - Valentino Rossi admits the 2007 MotoGP title is all but gone, and is switching his focus to holding the runner-up spot.

After a disastrous engine failure at Misano, Rossi has slipped 85 points behind Ducati's Casey Stoner - who can wrap up the title four rounds early if he scores 15 points more than Rossi at Estoril next Sunday.

"To be honest the championship is almost out of reach for us, especially when Stoner is so strong, so we will put all our energies into holding onto our second place and winning as many races as possible, as well as thinking about continuing the development of our package for next year," stated Rossi, who has won three races of the 13 so far held and is 20 points clear of Honda's Dani Pedrosa. "Now the aim is to have a good end to the season - we have five races left and we will be trying to win all five, even if the championship is out of our reach. I've had some good races at Estoril in the past although last year I missed out on the win by a tiny amount!"

Indeed, a dramatic 2006 Portuguese Grand Prixsaw Rossi propelled back into the title lead after team-mates Pedrosa and Nicky Haydensensationally collided - but the Italian lost five further points when he was beaten to the line by Toni Elias, by just 0.002secs. This weekend, he's out to avenge both that loss and his recent Misano misery.

"Misano was a great, great disappointment," said Rossi. "To not have the chance to fight and to finish after just a few laps was a terrible thing, but now we just have to put it behind us. We got back to work straight away on Monday for the test and we did some really good work with Michelin - it seems that they found some good new tyres and overall it was quite an encouraging test, much more than the last one. Hopefully we will be ready in Estoril with a package with which we can fight."

Fiat Yamaha team director Davide Brivio insists that the title fight isn't over, but also made clear that unless Michelin can provide competitive tyres then Rossi and team-mate Colin Edwards won't stand a chance.

"It's not over yet but we know that a gap of 85 points to such a strong rival package will be very, very difficult to recover," admitted Brivio. "All we can do is take it race buy race and try to put Valentino and Colin [Edwards] in a position to fight for race victories and podiums as soon as possible.

"First of all we have to hope that the tyres are competitive and from there on we can try. The test at Misano was positive so hopefully that improved performance carries over to Estoril. We know we have a rider who is capable of winning races and he deserves to be winning much more than he is now so we can only try our best to give him the equipment he needs to do that," added the under-pressure Italian.

MotoGP: Valentino Rossi admits MotoGP is a ‘little boring’



Valentino Rossi has branded the current racing in MotoGP as a ‘little boring.’

Speaking to MCN, the seven-times world champion has blamed tyres and electronics for killing MotoGP, and called on race bosses to make urgent changes to protect the premier class world championship as a spectacle.

Repsol Honda’s Dani Pedrosa and Marlboro Ducati’s Casey Stoner have won the last four races in embarrassingly one-sided fashion, and so bereft of overtaking and excitement that people are now likening MotoGP in 2007 to Formula One.

“This is the worst thing me. Before the races were more fun but now it is a little bit boring and this is the worst thing for me. The two big problems are tyres and electronics.

“We already spoke a lot to solve this problem but it is difficult. If we want a good show we have to make some changes because now there is a lot less overtaking. But for me it is more difficult to speak now I don’t win.

“I’m in a strange situation but it is the reality. Before the races were funnier. This year we see just one race with me, (Casey) Stoner and (Dani) Pedrosa fighting together. There has been no overtaking in the other races,” said Rossi, who goes into this weekend’s Estoril MotoGP in Portugal a massive 85-points adrift of Casey Stoner, with the Aussie able to wrap up the title if results go his way.

Valentino Rossi also admitted he was finding it hard to maintain his motivation. For the first time in his illustrious career Rossi is turning up for races knowing he is beaten before he’s even started.

“It is a difficult situation for me. It never happened in the past but it is even more difficult to fight when you know it is not possible to fight for the victory. But I will try,” he added.

Michelin has more work to do than Yamaha says Jerry Burgess

Valentino Rossi’s crew chief Jerry Burgess believes Michelin must take a bigger step in performance than Yamaha for the 2008 MotoGP world championship.

The Australian reckons tyres have been the single biggest factor in Rossi failing to mount a serious title threat to dominant Casey Stoner in 2007.

Jerry Burgess though conceded Yamaha engineers had work to do to drastically increase engine performance ahead of next season, with the YZR-M1 easily outgunned by the top speed and horsepower of Casey Stoner’s Ducati GP7.

Talking to MCN, Jerry Burgess said: “I would say clearly they (Yamaha) have less work to do than Michelin. I think if we’ve got what sticks on the road we can go fast around the corners.

“Faster round the corners means we’ll come onto the straights a bit faster and the speed deficit won’t be what you see. I attribute a percentage of the speed deficit of how we can get off the corners.

“It’s clear, you open the throttle earlier and that’s four kilometres you carry all the way to the end and build on. As you lose the grip off the corner you also lose the top speed and when the tyres are not working to tip into the corner at the other end you need support from the rear tyre.

“And if you have no grip then you run the risk of the rear breaking away. Once the tyres go off on this style of bike the working area in the braking area, because it is shorter, is far more critical so you lose big time.

“And you add that to being a little bit short on engine anyway the job becomes triply difficult. It’s important for us next year for us to start out at the level of Ducati next year.

“We’ll always be improving the engine but the actual grip on the maximum edge of the tyre we seem to have not as much as we want. We’ll work hard together with Michelin.

“I think it’s a problem that’s obvious to anybody that wants to look. If you take Ducati out of the equation and compare the Yamaha to Suzuki, we had clear track in front of us in Misano in the early part of the race and we weren’t closing that gap.

“When our tyres are brand new and their tyres are brand new we don’t seem to have the same speed. In the old days if it was Michelin and somebody cleared off you’d say ‘that’s ok Max (Biaggi) is on the soft one, we’ll catch him later in the race.’

“These days we don’t have that knowledge or the luxury. They (Bridgestone) seem to be able to carry it all the way.”

With the world championship long gone in Jerry Burgess’s eyes, he said Valentino Rossi andYamaha would still be fighting for every point in the last five races of the season, while also using the end of the season effectively as an extended winter test session ahead of next year.

“Essentially it’s not only Yamaha that we have to go testing for. If you go round the corner three or four kilometres faster and open the throttle 15 or 20 metres before and pull back on the throttle you’ll be going faster at the end of the straight.

“As I’ve said several times this year you need a good rider, good bike and good tyres and if anyone of those is missing you are not going to be running up there with Casey Stoner.

“We have got the rider, that part of the package we know we have got. The bike on a lot of circuits is not as fast as the Ducati but in the handling sections we can usually make the difference if we have got the rubber to do it,” added Burgess, who said despite Valentino Rossi’s recent problems that have seen him go four successive races without a podium, beating Stoner this season would have been a tall order.

“We’d kissed the world championship goodbye in a common sense approach to motorcycling racing after Laguna Seca. We’d given it a nasty dent in the Sachsenring and if you look back in the races where you want to move forward, Casey was 21-points in front of us going into Le Mans.

“And when we came out after Assen he was still 21-points in front of us. So we hadn’t taken anything out of his lead for a long, long time. To assume that we would in five or six races was wishful thinking,” said Burgess.

Recently, Fiat Yamaha boss Davide Brivio admitted to MCN that with a better engine, Valentino Rossi would have won in Qatar, Shanghai and Barcelona, where his biggest complaint was the superior power advantage held by Casey Stoner’s Ducati.

But Jerry Burgess said Yamaha weren’t the only manufacturer to caught out by the strategy of Ducati to go for outright top speed rather than concentrating on handling and drivability.

He said: “Not only us, but some of the other manufacturers underestimated where Ducati would set the bar.

“Having said that we have seen Valentino in the past being able to make up for a speed deficit and I think the category now doesn’t give you that working margin with a slower top speed compared to the 990.

“If we can get up there, harass Casey and the Ducati, then we’ve got a chance of driving the boat for a while. At the moment we aren’t.”
