Όχι οτι υπάρχει καμια ελπίδα να πάει κανείς μας εκεί αλλά διαβάστε παρακάτω φυλάδιο από το Dubai Autodrome και οργάνωση Track Day. Μου τα στέλνει ένας κολητόςπου είναι εκεί για να μου σπάει τα νεύρα.
Παρεπιπτόντως οργανόνονται και μες το καλοκαίρι βραδυνά sessions για μοτοσυκλέτες με τίτλο "Beat the heat"!!!!

Δυστυχώς έτυχε να βρεθώ εκεί με 42βαθμούς και χωρίς μοτοσυκλέτα, αλλά η πίστα ήταν...πισταρα.
DAMC TRACK EXPERIENCE DAY
INTERNATIONAL CIRCUIT SATURDAY 16TH SEPTEMBER 2006
Dubai Autodrome Motor Sports Club plan to run a track experience day on Saturday 16th September. The day will consist of morning sessions for cars and afternoon sessions for motorcycles, using the 4.29 km International Circuit of Dubai Autodrome.
The cost will be Dhs 900 per vehicle, payable in advance.
For cars the bookings will be taken by the Race & Drive School at the Autodrome (contact Jane Perello on e mail maryjanep@dubaiautodrome.com and telephone 04 367 8745 or 04 367 8700 ext 504) who will co-ordinate the day. One to One Instruction from a Race & Drive School Instructor is available on the day for additional charge. The timings will be as follows;
07.45 Sign on & 08.30 Briefing
09.00 to 09.20 Group A – Road & saloon cars
09.20 to 09.40 Group B – Race and performance sports cars
09.40 to 10.00 Group A – Road & saloon cars
10.00 to 10.20 Group B – Race and performance sports cars
10.20 to 10.40 Group A – Road & saloon cars
10.40 to 11.00 Group B – Race and performance sports cars
11.00 to 11.20 Group A – Road & saloon cars
11.20 to 11.40 Group B – Race and performance sports cars
11.40 to 12.00 Group A – Road & saloon cars
12.00 to 12.20 Group B – Race and performance sports cars
12.20 to 12.40 Group A – Road & saloon cars
12.40 to 13.00 Group B – Race and performance sports cars

15.40 to 16.00 – Group B Open Group
16.00 to 16.20 – Group A Racers and Licence holders
16.20 to 16.40 – Group B Open Group
16.40 to 17.00 – Group A Racers and Licence holders
17.00 to 17.20 – Group B Open Group
17.20 to 17.40 – Group A Racers and Licence holders
17.40 to 18.00 – Group B Open Group
NB; Please note that the Bike Track Evening originally planned for 12th September has now been dropped in view of this day being added to the calendar.
Arrangements will be as follows;
1. Cars will be based in Pit Garages 1A to 3C and Bikes 5A to 7C.
2. Sign on/Briefings will be conducted in Race Administration. Please be on time to ensure no delays to the day. All drivers must be prepared to show an appropriate licence at signing on. Passengers for car sessions must also sign on.
3. Track access will only be permitted once driver/rider has signed on and attended the briefing. Wristbands will be checked at the pit exit.
4. Timing/Racing is not permitted. Video recording is only allowed with the express permission of the organizers.
5. All drivers/riders and passengers must wear helmets. Helmets can be hired from the Race and Drive School on the day but a Dhs 30 hire fee and a Dhs 100 deposit will be required.
6. Any passengers under the age of 16 must be capable of being properly restrained by seat belts and a parent or guardian will be required to sign on with them.
7. For car drivers and passengers arms and legs should be covered and appropriate footwear be worn. On the grounds of safety windows should be almost closed when traveling on track to ensure limbs do not fall out and seat belts must be worn at all times when on circuit.
8. For bike riders one piece (or two piece zipped together) leathers with motorcycle boots and gloves are required. No sparking knee or toe sliders are permitted.
9. Watch for the chequered flag and return to the pit lane at the end of the next lap – doing further laps will only cause delays.
10. At the end of sessions vehicles will be directed from the pit lane through Pit Garage 4 in order to drive back to the allocated pit from the Paddock at the rear. Please do not block the rear access to the Pit Garages with spare road cars.
11. No animals are permitted into the venue and minors are not permitted in the pit lane. There must be no smoking in the pit lane.
12. A catering sales point will be established in Race Administration for refreshments and snacks.
13. No participant must be under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
14. All participants must follow the instructions of officials all times please. The organizers will retime sessions in order to complete the programme on time should delays be caused.
