Είναι απίστευτοι οι Cure.

Οι Cure αποτελούν, για μένα, μοναδικό φαινόμενο στο χώρο της μουσικής, αισθάνομαι ευλογημένος που τους έχω απολαύσει ζωντανά τέσσερις φορές.

Δυστυχώς από κάθε, σχεδόν, album τους γίνονται - για εμπορικούς φυσικά λόγους - γνωστά τα πλέον εύπεπτα τραγούδια τους. Ειδικά το album που περιέχει το Lullaby αποτελεί εμπειρία ζωής.

Μα εκεί ακριβώς είναι το θέμα, αν π.χ. από το Wish οι φαιδροί ραδιοφωνικοί (και μουσικο-φονικοί) σταθμοί πιάσουν και παίζουν αποκλειστικά και μόνο το "Friday I'm in Love", το συμπέρασμα που θα βγάλει ο ανυποψίαστος ακροατής είναι ότι η μπάντα παίζει σιρόπια και τρα-λα-λα.
Κι αν τον πιάσεις και τον βάλεις να ακούσει οποιοδήποτε άλλο κομμάτι από το ίδιο άλμπουμ, θα σε κοιτάξει και θα σου πει, "μα καλά, το ίδιο συγκρότημα παίζει που άκουγα και στο Friday I'm in Love;;;"
